Trials Evolutions crashes →
Here is a link to a video I did for Official Xbox Magazine. My part was playing the game for the video capture and making all those ridiculous crashes happen.  If you haven’t downloaded Trials yet, you absolutely should. It is super fun and a great game for people with tight gaming time schedules. There is even a level that makes an homage to Limbo, I played it, it’s amazing.

WatchWatch
I’m getting excited for this game. I played the first one and liked it a lot. The story never grabbed me, but the gameplay was solid and visceral. Now the second one is due out next week and trailers are popping out on the daily. This one came out today and while I was disappointed that it didn’t have a lot of action in it, the music fit SO WELL.You gotta love a good live-action...

Industry Insider: Indie Game Interns, pt. 2
As promised, here is the second part of the interview with my 2 undergraduate game design friends Ryan Anderson and Julian Noble. Last week we learned what their favorite games where and why, what they like about their internship at the indie game company Chronic Logic, and their hops and fears with entering the game industry in a few years.  ...

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad Hands-on preview →
Here is a preview I did for Official Xbox Magazine on the upcoming Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad racing Xbox Live Arcade Game. I don’t normally play a lot of racing games, but this one is pretty good. It has a lot of cool little mechanics that I describe more in detail in the full preview. So click the link and read more!

Why do you play games?
I’m posting this question in hopes that anyone reading my blog will answer. It doesn’t have to be a long answer, mind you, just any reason or a few as to why you play games. I hope to get a few quotations for a story I want to write in a few days, don’t worry anonymity will be respected unless you want your name/blog name included in which case please say so. So if you see this...

Gears of War 3 Digger Launcher Replica →
Here is a news story I did on the Digger Launcher replica that Kronos Props made a little while ago. What’s funny is that I already reblogged this story before I did it for OXM. Aw well, double coverage can’t hurt, right?

Saints Row: The Third - The Trouble with Clones... →
Here is a review I did on the last installment of Saint’s Row: the Third DLC. I absolutely love this title and wish they were coming out with more add-ons or, better yet, a fourth Saint’s Row game. If you haven’t played any of the DLC for this game I recommend that you do. Granted all three are on the short side, they are still a lot of fun and its always great to return to...
